KYIV, Dec 7 – The involvement of businessmen in the fight against corruption can help tackle the problem faster, Executive Director at Transparency International Ukraine Yaroslav Yurchyshyn said.

"The Ukrainians already understand that without their participation the fight against corruption will not be effective. On the other hand, they do not understand how [to participate in this process]. We believe that there are several categories of the population that can critically affect the situation. These are entrepreneurs and business representatives who work most closely with the state and with the sphere most susceptible to corruption," he said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday.
