KYIV, Dec 5 - Director of the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) Roman Truba, who was appointed to this post in the newly created agency, has said he expects the full-fledged launch of the bureau's work in about six to eight months, probably in July 2018.
"Yes, these are ambitious plans. However, I understand that this will be a challenge and an exhausting mode of work in the 24/7 format. I am aware of all the factors that may delay the process, and these factors in many cases will not depend on the SBI itself. It is necessary to set the bar," Truba said in an interview with the Levy Bereg online news site, which was published on December 1, when asked about the projected date for the launch of the SBI's work.
