KYIV, Nov 24 – The annulment of visa regime for Ukrainians to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced by the Ukrainian president would increase the number of tourists visiting the UAE at least 50%, Director of the culture and tourism department's office of Abu-Dhabi in Russia and CIS Edward Grigoriev has told Interfax-Ukraine.

"Now the visa-free regime will be introduced for Ukraine. Experience now shows that these steps have the most positive impact on the tourist flow in the UAE, where the main drivers of growth are the absence of red tape formalities and procedures related to obtaining visas and a significant reduction in the costs associated with visa fees," he said.
