KYIV, Oct 9 - Consumer prices in Ukraine increased by 2% on the month in September, and year-over-year inflation accelerated to 16.4%, the State Statistics Service said on Monday.

Since the beginning of the year, inflation has hit 10.2%, exceeding the target figure set by the National Bank of Ukraine at 8% +/- 2 percentage points for the current year.
