KYIV, Aug 19 – Slovakia's Nafta, a leading oil and gas company in the country, seeks to become a participant, investor and operator of the product sharing agreement (PSA) for the Yuzivske shale gas field.
The field, which is located in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, was originally supposed to be developed by Shell, but was suspended indefinitely after Shell had withdrawn from the project following a war between Ukraine and pro-Russian separatists backed by Moscow.
