KYIV, Aug 10 – The Pechersky District Court of Kyiv has granted permission for a special pre-trial investigation in absentia against former First Deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov in the case on the failure of Ukrtelecom and ESU shareholders to meet the privatization conditions.

The court passed this decision at a meeting on Thursday, having granted a relevant request of the Prosecutor General's Office, the PGO's public and media relations office reported.
