KYIV, Aug 9 – Daily transit of Russian natural gas across the Ukrainian gas transport system (GTS) on August 7, 2017 totaled almost 276 million cubic meters (mcm), and this is the highest figure since February.

According to data from public joint-stock company Ukrtransgaz, on August 5 and August 6 transit via the Ukrainian GTS exceeded 270 mcm: 273.5 mcm and 272.3 mcm respectively.

On August 1 through August 7, transit totaled almost 1.86 billion cubic meters (bcm) or 265.6 mcm a day.
