KYIV, Aug 8 - During the first half of 2017, only one third of criminal cases on corruption crimes were considered at Ukrainian courts and 469 officials were convicted, of which 121 were sentenced to imprisonment.
"For the first half of the year, 2,237 criminal proceedings indictments on corruption crimes were received by the courts, of which only 741 were considered," Chairman of the Supreme Court of Ukraine Yaroslav Romaniuk told a briefing in Kyiv on Monday.
