KIEV, July 11 - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development may postpone its $300 million loan to Ukraine for natural gas imports if the government fails to approve sector reform by end July, Naftogaz Ukrayiny reported.
The move would only affect $234 million portion of the loan after decision has been already made to disburse $66 million.
Andriy Kobolev, the head of Naftogaz Ukrayiny, said the loan was crucial in helping Ukraine put enough gas in its underground gas storage facilities and urged the government to approve the reforms.
