KIEV, May 15 – Police on Monday questioned a former security service SBU agent seeking to check possible links to the last year’s murder of a prominent journalist.

Ihor Ustimenko, who quit SBU in April 2014, was spotted watching the street in July 2016 the night the bomb was planted under the journalist’s car.

“He showed up for the questioning in line with procedures established by the Criminal Code,” a police spokesman said, adding that investigators are verifying received information.
