Journal Staff Report

KIEV, March 20 – DTEK has reported a crime to the National Police involving its loss of control over mining enterprises located in areas temporarily not controlled by Ukrainian government forces in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

"The applications were filed in accordance with Part 3 of Article 206 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine foreseeing the demand to terminate doing business linked to a threat of violence and the seizure of property by an organized group of persons. DTEK asked the National Police to launch a pretrial investigation and take measures not to allow the unlawful use of the seized property," the company said in a press release.
