KIEV, March 10 - Inflation in Ukraine in February stood at 1% compared to 1.1% in January and 0.9% in December last year, the State Statistics Service reported.
In annual terms the growth of consumer prices accelerated to 14.2% in February from 12.6% in January and 12.4% in the previous year.
The authority reported that food and non-alcoholic drinks prices in February grew by 1.5%. Prices of fruit, sugar, bread, butter, milk and dairy products, vegetable, meat and meat products, grain products, fish and fish products rose by 3.5-1.3%. Prices of eggs fell by 16.7%.
