KIEV, Feb. 14 – Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman denies accusations that the tariff for electricity in Ukraine is calculated on the basis of existing coal prices at the Rotterdam port, stressing that today the coal price in the tariff is 41.2% less than the price in Rotterdam.
"I hear that the Rotterdam plus is used in the tariff now. This is not so. The price of coal in Rotterdam is around UAH 3,000 [per ton], and in the tariff it is calculated at UAH 1.730 [per ton]," he said at a government meeting in Kiev on Tuesday.
