KIEV, Feb. 10 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture has revised upwards its grain exports forecast for Ukraine in 2016/17 agricultural year (July-June) by 1.5 million tons, to 40.4 million tons compared to the January forecast.
According to a posting on the USDA website, wheat exports forecast was revised upwards by 800 tons, to 16.5 million tons and corn exports – by 700 tons, to 18.7 million tons.
The grain harvest forecast was increased by 1.4%, to 66 million tons thanks to the increase of the corn harvest forecast by 1 million tons, to 28 million tons.
