KIEV, Jan. 18 – Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will visit Ukraine on an official visit in 2017 and will take part in the sixth meeting of the Council of presidents of Ukraine and Azerbaijan, the press service of the Ukrainian president said on Wednesday.

According to the report, President Petro Poroshenko and Azerbaijani President Aliyev met in Davos and discussed the preparations for this meeting and announced the successful implementation of the agreements reached at the fifth meeting of the Presidential Council, held in Baku in 2016.

Ukraine's president welcomed the restoration of Azerbaijani oil supplies to Ukraine.
