KIEV , Nov. 30 – AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) Ukraine has organized the opening of the first no-cost confidential HIV checkpoint in Eastern Europe in Kiev , Deputy Bureau Chief, Director of Programs at AHF Europe Anna Zakowicz said at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

"We are doing everything to stimulate people to learn their HIV status and dismiss psychological fears of medical institutions," she said.

She also said that the mobile division of the checkpoint has been launched. The mobile HIVs tests could be done for large groups of people. The car can be ordered at AHF Ukraine website and one can learn about the nearest free HIV test checkpoint in 12 regions of Ukraine.
