KIEV, Oct. 18 - Gazprom today increased its application for natural gas transit through the gas transportation system of Ukraine to 277 million cubic meters per day, Ukrtransgaz spokesman Maksym Biliavsky, wrote on his Facebook page.

According to Biliavsky, gas transit through Ukraine on October 17 was 276.4 million cubic meters, whereas on the same date last October it was about 210 million cubic meters, he told Interfax-Ukraine.
