KIEV, Oct. 15 – Unaffiliated MP Serhiy Taruta has proposed to include the issue of dismissing National Bank of Ukraine Governor Valeriya Gontareva on the agenda of the Verkhovna Rada's session this plenary week.

"I propose that we include draft resolutions that would be registered today to this week agenda. One resolution is a petition to the Ukrainian president to dismiss Gontareva and the second is to create a temporary investigation commission. If she [Gontareva] has nothing to hide, let her work with us," Taruta said at a meeting of the council of heads of parliamentary factions, committees and groups on Monday.

He said that the NBU head did not attend Rada committee meetings and ignored lawmakers.
