KIEV, Oct. 13 – The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe on Wednesday has adopted two resolutions amending its stance on Ukraine.
The title of one of the documents has been changed from "of the conflict in Ukraine" to the following words "of the Russian aggression in Ukraine," according to the document posted on the website of the organization.
"We have just got all the most important references in the two resolutions on Ukraine, namely the extension of sanctions against Russia until the full restoration of the sovereignty of Ukraine, the condemnation of the illegal elections in Crimea and the prohibition of Mejlis, the refusal to accept the Russian Federation in the Assembly, in spite of everything, the liberation of prisoners among many other things," head of the permanent delegation of the Verkhovna Rada to PACE Volodymyr Ariev wrote on his Facebook page.
