KIEV, July 27 – Ukrzaliznytsia Chairman Wojciech Balczun has said that international operations of the company should be stepped up.

He seeks to create the UZ Cargo International brand within six months, Balczun wrote on his Facebook page, commenting on the board's action plan presented to the Infrastructure Ministry by him on July 25.

"The main goal of our steps in the next six months will be fighting corruption, in particular, via the introduction of transparent tender procedures; as well broach changes in our approach. The specifications of tenders that are being prepared for the implementation of projects will allow us to become as market-suited as possible offers," he wrote.
