KIEV, Nov. 25 – OSCE Representative for Media Freedom Dunja Mijatovic has welcomed the adoption of a Ukrainian law which sets out the path towards ending state and municipal ownership of print media outlets.

"This long-awaited law is a major step forward in advancing media freedom and pluralism in the country," Mijatovic said, going on to note the widespread support for the law within the Ukrainian media community and the wider public.
