KIEV, May 15 – Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk hopes for a cut in the price of gas imported from the European Union after talks which were held in Paris.
"We hope that volumes of gas purchases and the price of European gas will be more competitive than it is today," he said in parliament on Friday.
According to Yatseniuk, Ukraine currently buys natural gas from such large gas suppliers as RWE, Statoil, GDF Suez, E.ON, and Royal Dutch Shell.
