KIEV, April 14 – President Petro Poroshenko has signed a law on amendments to the 2015 state budget regarding state support of the coal industry, which will ensure the timely payment of wages to coal miners.

Law No. 278-VIII states that miners working at state coalmines will receive UAH 400 million of wage arrears under the budget program on the support of coalmining enterprises, thanks to the reduction of expenses for the restructuring of the coal and peat production industry which were foreseen in the national budget, the president's press service reported on Tuesday.
