KIEV, March 24 – The 70th anniversary of the end of World War II will continue to be commemorated on May 9 this year, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister and Culture Minister Vyacheslav Kyrylenko said.
"The government will not cancel Victory Day celebrations on May 9, but, at the same time, the government has also proposed marking May 8, which is Remembrance and Reconciliation Day in Europe," he said at a press briefing on Tuesday.
