KIEV, Feb. 24 – The chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff, Viktor Muzhenko, has signed a document on military-technical cooperation with the United Arab Emirates in the presence of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, the president's press office said on Tuesday.

"This will make our military-technical cooperation much easier and regular," Poroshenko said.

The first delivery of UAE defense products has already arrived: the armored vehicles which helped reinforce the Ukrainian army, he said. "We have significantly broadened the nomenclature of our cooperation. We have set the timeframe for supplying the necessary defense equipment to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. I am certain that today's visit was extremely successful," Poroshenko said.
