MOSCOW, Feb. 23 – Kiev's ban on parts supplies to Russia will not affect the implementation of the governmental programs to re-arm the Russian army, an informed source from the Military-Industrial Commission (MIC) told Interfax-AVN.
"As regards the Ukrainian factor, I would say the likelihood of its effect on the pace of implementation of our State armament program-2020 is zero. For example, as far as rockets go, we have long been on our own. The same can be said about accessories for Voyevoda heavy liquid-propellant rockets that used to be assembled in Dnipropetrovsk. In this respect, we don't need Ukraine's Pivdenmash at all," the source said.
