KIEV, Jan. 22 – The interagency working group at the Economic Development and Trade Ministry has assessed the amount of grain likely to be exported from Ukraine in the 2014/15 agricultural year (July-June) at 37.79 million tons, according to a report posted on the ministry's website.
The forecasts are based on production data on the 63.8 million tons of grain harvested last year.
Total supply of grain, taking into account ending stocks, is estimated at 72.43 million tons. The domestic market could consume 27.35 million tons. Grain ending stock at the end of the agricultural year should reach 7.29 million tons.
