KIEV, Jan. 22 – State Food-Grain Corporation has fully fulfilled a 2014 contract on supply of corn to China as a part of the general credit agreement on grain exports from Ukraine.
"As of early December, the state of the implementation of the contract was no more than 30%, and the contract was under a large threat of failure. They had the right to withdraw the credit line of $1.5 billion opened for the contract. Today, China declared the fulfillment of the contract. We've managed to fulfill it in the shortest terms," Agricultural Policy and Food Minister Oleksiy Pavlenko said at a meeting of the parliamentary committee for preventing corruption.
