KIEV, Oct. 20 – Japan would consistently support Ukraine through coordinated efforts within the G7, of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was quoted as saying at a meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Milan on October 16.
Poroshenko's press service reported that Abe emphasized that Japan had already been giving Ukraine $1.5 billion assistance. Due to the ruined infrastructure and the loss of industrial production, Japan is ready to provide Ukraine $6 million for the restoration of infrastructure and $1 million for medical assistance to injured residents of the Donbas.
