HOPTIVKA (Kharkiv region), Oct. 15 – Ukraine needs to reinforce its state border with Russia in order to obtain a visa-free regime with the European Union, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said.
"Who does not like [the name] Wall, can call this project European Rampart. This is the arrangement of the eastern border of the European Union. Why do we need Project Wall or the European Rampart? Visa-free regime. Nobody will provide us with the visa-free regime, if there is no border," Yatseniuk said on Wednesday in Kharkiv region after viewing the Hoptivka border checkpoint.
