KIEV, Oct. 13 - Coal mines in Ukraine's western Lviv region plan to boost output by 25% in 2015 to compensate for the shortfall in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the energy and coal industry said Monday.
The Lviv-based state-owned coal producer LvivVuhillia plans to produce 2 million metric tons of coal in 2015, up from 1.6 million mt that is expected to be produced in 2014, the ministry said.
