KIEV, Sept. 22 - Ukraine will rely on fuel oil and energy consumption cuts to bridge an estimated 5 billion cubic meter gap in gas supplies this winter, Volodymyr Hroysman, deputy prime minister, said Monday.

Fuel oil supplies will replace demand for 3 billion cu m of gas, while the remaining demand of 2 billion cu m will be reduced through energy conservation measures, he said.
