KIEV, Sept. 17 - Coal stocks at Ukraine's thermal power plants and combined heat power plants decreased by 31.2% or 968,500 tons in August and as of September 1 totaled 2.138 million tons, a source in the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry told Interfax-Ukraine.

A total of 1.464 million tons of gas coal was left (1.372 million tons as of August 1, 2014) and 674,200 tons of anthracite coal (1.735 million tons as of August 1, 2014).
