KIEV, Aug. 12 – Parliament on Tuesday approved a bill in the first reading that allows President Petro Poroshenko to impose economic sanctions on Russia, including banning transit of its natural gas to Europe.
The bill, No. 4453(a), was supported by 243 lawmakers in the 450-seat Parliament, according to Parliament’s press service.
