KIEV, July 8 - Ukraine on Tuesday dismissed as “political” comments made by Alexei Miller, the CEO of Gazprom, that the country’s debt for supplied natural gas had increased to $5.3 billion in June.

Pavlo Petrenko, the justice minister, said Miller’s comments have no economic or legal sense and have been “dictated” from the office of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
