KIEV, July 4 - Ukraine needs to reform its natural gas transportation system in order to remain a key transporter of gas to consumers in Europe, Andriy Kobolev, the head of Naftogaz Ukrayiny, said Friday.

Russia’s state-controlled gas giant Gazprom has been seeking to build new pipelines bypassing Ukraine on the way to Europe that threaten operation of the Ukrainian pipelines, he said.
