KIEV, July 1 – The signing of the economic part of the Association Agreement with the European Union takes into account Ukrainian interests in the approval and realization of the programs and strategies of the EU for the development of the energy infrastructure, Naftogaz Ukrayiny said.

The state-owned company said that the article of the agreement regarding cooperation in the use of infrastructure says that each party is to take into account the energy networks and the capabilities of the other party when drawing up program documents regarding energy demand and supply, energy strategies, and plans for the development of infrastructure.
