MOSCOW, Feb. 18 - The EU-Ukraine Association Agreement poses no threat to Russia's interests, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton said.
Russia has nothing to fear and nothing threatens its historical, economic and social ties with neighbors, Ashton said in an article published by the Kommersant newspaper on Tuesday.
Independent researches confirm that the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, including the agreement on establishing a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, will not have negative impact on the trade between Russia and Ukraine, Ashton said.
