BEIJING, Dec. 5 - Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has reaffirmed his support for the Chinese leadership's idea to revive the ancient Silk Route in the form of a Eurasian transport corridor.

"I would like to say that Ukraine will wholeheartedly support the initiative of Chinese leader Xi Jinping to recreate the Great Silk Route," Yanukovych said at a Ukrainian-Chinese business forum in Beijing on Thursday.
