KIEV, Nov. 21 – The parliamentary committee for transport and communications, jointly with the Infrastructure Ministry, has proposed that a single excise duty on fuel of EUR 198 per ton be set, committee chairman Borys Kolesnikov said in Kiev at a meeting of the committee.

"The excise duty should be a single one – EUR 198 per ton – for all types of fuel. There should not be any differentiated rates, as later this turns into fraud at the border," he said.

Kolesnikov said that the said proposals were included in a bill on the creation of the state road fund.
