KIEV, Nov. 21 – The Antimonopoly Committee has permitted Guris Insaat ve Muhendislik A.S. (Turkey) to acquire over 50% of the shares in the project on the construction of Western-Crimean wind power plant (Saky and Chornomorsky districts in Crimea, the capacity of 250 MW), the committee said on its Web site.
A consortium of Greenworx Holding NV (Belgium) and Guris Construction and Engineering Co. (part of Guris Insaat ve Muhendislik A.S.) announced the acquisition of the project on the construction of the Western-Crimean wind power plant from EuroUkrWind Ltd (Cyprus) in January 2012, although the finalization of the deal continues until now.
"This was an important phase for us. Now we resume due diligence and we expects that the decision to allocate loans for the projects will be made in spring," Western-Crimean wind power plant Head Loic Lerminiaux told Interfax-Ukraine.
