KIEV, Nov. 6 – Inflation in Ukraine in October was 0.4% following zero growth in consumer prices in September, the State Statistics Service reported.
The service said that consumer prices had fallen by 0.2% since the beginning of the year.
According to its report, in October 2013, prices of food and soft drinks grew by 0.6% compared to the previous month. The prices of eggs and vegetables went up by 11.5% and 7.2%, respectively. Those for milk, butter, salo (pork fat), fermented milk products, sour cream, cheese and sugar grew by 2.2-0.5%.
