KIEV, Oct. 21 – The labor market in Ukraine demonstrates stability despite the global economic crisis, according to Social Policy Minister Natalia Korolevska.
"Amid the global economic crisis, the labor market in Ukraine demonstrates stability. There are also some positive trends. The unemployment rate under the International Labor Organization methodology has reduced. While in the first half of 2012 it amounted to 7.8%, by the end of the first half of 2013 it came to 7.5%," Korolevska said during a meeting on employment in Kiev.
