KIEV, Oct. 15 - Russia and Ukraine on Tuesday agreed to create and join a group of regional grain exporting countries in order to coordinate policies and charge higher prices for the commodity.
The agreement was reached at a meeting between Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and his Ukrainian counterpart Mykola Azarov in Kaluga, the Russian Federation.
“A number of very important agreements was signed, including [plans] to create the so-called grain pool,” Azarov said after the meeting his press service reported.
