SAO PAULO, Oct. 8 – Apparent steel consumption in Ukraine in 2013 will fall by 7.9% compared with 2012, to 5.8 million tons, Hans Jurgen Kerkhoff, Chairman of the World Steel Association's Economics Committee told Interfax-Ukraine at a press conference as a part of the 47th annual conference held in Sao Paulo on October 7-9.

He said that in 2014 it is expected that apparent steel consumption in Ukraine will grow by 4.3% compared with 2013, to six million tons.
