KIEV, Oct. 1 – Ukraine's State Inspectorate for Protection of Consumer Rights starting July 1, 2014 will start monitoring the adherence of household electric appliances, household electric refrigerators and washing machines, to the technical regulations of energy labeling drawn up by Ukraine on the basis of the EU Directives.

According to the resolution, energy consuming products, which have a considerable direct or indirect impact on energy consumption and if needed the consumption of other main resources, are to be labeled under the technical regulations.
