KIEV, Sept. 19 – Ukraine's gross foreign debt narrowed by 0.5%, or $700 million, to $134.4 billion, in H1, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
The central bank said that the debt was down by 0.9 percentage notches in relation to GDP, from 76.6% to 75.7%.
According to the central bank, foreign debt in the public administration sector and monetary and credit regulation agencies (government and NBU) in the first half of 2013 decreased by $1.8 billion, to $30.4 billion. As for GDP, the debt of the public administration sector fell by 1.1% percentage notches, to 17.2% of GDP from 18.3%.
