KIEV, Sept. 11 - An oil tanker carrying Russian crude for the Odessa oil refinery arrived in Ukraine on Thursday, the press service of the Odessa Merchant Sea Port reported.

This is the first shipment of oil by a tanker for the Odessa refinery, which has been staying idle for 2.5 years and has recently changed ownership.

The tanker, which arrived from the Russian port of Novorossiysk, docked at an oil terminal of the Odessa port and will shortly begin unloading 79,900 metric tons of crude, the press service said.
