KIEV, Aug. 30 – President Viktor Yanukovych has again said that it is unacceptable to increase the price of gas for households.
"Any increase in the prices of gas for households is not acceptable for us. We've increased it to the extent that is in line with the living standards of our people… We see that the price [cannot be] increased today, despite the fact that the price of gas is very high, and we buy it to the prejudice of the state, but we don't put this on the shoulders of people," he said in an interview with Ukrainian television channels broadcasted on the 1+1 TV channel on Friday.
"We won’t go this way, never, while I am in power," the head of state said.
