KIEV, July 22 - European values oblige EU countries to ensure a decent life and support for all persons unable to cope with financial difficulties, and this is in contradiction to the danger of a mass influx of citizens from CIS countries, said Nikolaus Haufler, a member of the Hamburg Parliament.
Haufler said on the Foucault's Pendulum program on the Tonis television channel, while discussing with political analyst Dmytro Vydrin the simplification of EU border crossing by Ukrainian citizens, that this factor restrains the European Union from taking important steps on the liberalization of the visa regime, particularly with Ukraine.
